Fiona Huang
Business Partner DirectorThe LEGO Group, Our LEGO Agency APACClose to two decades in, I feel incredibly lucky to still be doing what I love - the business of creativity to create winning brand and commercial results.
I have deep respect, curiosity (and at times, envy!) for what it takes to do just that - be it the strategic rigour in seeking out common ground between brands and people, the truth carefully chosen to serve a brief... to supercharging that with creative firepower, to create meaningful marketing communications that is highly memorable (#oneforthememorybank) and better yet, drives action.
Honoured to be returning to do Head of Jury duty again for EFFIES Singapore.

He is now leading McCann Singapore through a big chapter of change, bringing different teams, cultures and ambitions into one clearer direction. His background is commercial, but his interest is broader: how to build agencies that are sharper, braver and more useful for clients to grow their business.
He believes creativity matters most when it moves something, a brand, a team, or a contract or a difficult conversation.
And he believes agencies need more courage, more commercial ambition and more humanity. Ideally, all three at the same time.

Twelve markets, hundreds of clients, and nurtured a generation of leaders who will be leaders. He drove growth, shaped the region's biggest client relationships, and understood the holding company model from the inside with a clarity that only comes from having built, restructured and led within it for two decades.
In 2024, he found NextWave Worldwide, an AI-native full service agency operating across Singapore and India and expanding further. Senior strategic thinking, AI-powered production, and agentic products trained on decades of real marketing experience sit inside a single operating model built for what effectiveness demands today.
